Vehicle Description

This 1989 Volvo 240DL wagon has been in my family for 36 years. It was regularly serviced and maintained. It was garaged for 30 years of its life. It’s still driveable but it’s starting to show it’s age and would be a great project for someone that is passionate about classic cars. Most of the parts are original. Tires are relatively new. Since trailering it out to Colorado in 2000 it’s been driven less then 1000 miles per year. The transmission is starting to slip which leads me to believe it will need some work in the near future to maximize its potential. Typically maxes out around 50 mph. The odometer stopped working at 306,636 and the engine likely has another 30,000 on it. The car still looks great but again is starting to show wear. In an effort to be totally transparent I am sharing pictures of items that are damaged/missing. The body has minimal rust, mostly at the base of the two rear tire wells. The hood experienced some hail damage last spring. The paint shows different signs of age based on two minor accidents over the years. Front leather seats show wear, currently covered with sheep skin.
