Vehicle Description

1989 240 Wagon with third row seating. Metallic gray paint with tan interior, driver seat was replaced to cloth but we are including a tan vinyl bottom for the driver side. The paint is 9/10 with only a few minor scratches and blemishes. Automatic car with 242k on the engine and less than 100 miles on the motor swap and refresh. The car came to us from West Virginia from a fellow Volvo enthusiast with an engine that had crankshaft play, so we installed a fresh engine from a 1991 Volvo 240 with tons of work done: New transmission seals, cam seals, timing belt kit, water pump, hoses, freshly surfaced head at the machine shop, new valve cover gasket and head gasket Spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor cap and rotor, fresh oil change, fresh coolant change, new sensors all around in the engine bay, crank sensor, ignition control unit. New kick down cable and transmission pan seal installed. We have installed the air box that is missing in the photos. The car is not perfect, it has a few very minor rust spots included with the photos, one on the hood, one on the driver rocker and one by the windshield. No rust underneath.
