1938 Studebaker K5 Coupe Express Truck

The K5 truck has a90bhp 226cid Commander inline 6 motor. At some point the original motor was changed for a later year motor w unknown mileage! The 3-speed manual shift on the floor and transmission operates fine! The paint is Fern Green, truck sheet metal and chromed items are all in VG condition. The 6 volt system is intact with wiring replaced from the headlights to the dashboard as well as to the rear tail/brake light. The brakes, brake lines, exhaust and muffler have been updated during my ownership.

Nice correct stainless hood trim! The running boards and truck bed are covered with a tough black coating vs the rubber running board covers on the floorboards. Windshield glass is VG condition and window regulators work as normal. Tires are black-wall mounted on later year Commander Rims as are the hubcaps.

The factory steering wheel is in VG condition. Horn button contact plate was missing but is installed now. Headliner bows are there but headliner is missing. Door panels appear to be original. Bench seat has been recovered and in older style dark green. Both doors close without sagging.
