1938 Studebaker K5 Coupe Express Truck - No Reserve

Vehicle Description
1938 Studebaker Coupe Express K5 Truck
In 1938, production numbers for the revised Coupe Express reached 1200. How many survive today compared to the higher number 1937 J5 is unknown. A restyled cab revealed more of the passenger car sheet metal and a slightly longer pickup bed resulted.
In addition, the spare tire elevated slightly more on the K5 than the J5 of 1937.
The K5 has Commander rims & chrome trim rings with radial tires, both on the ground & spare.
Fender mounted front headlights compared to the side cowl mounting for 1937 preceded the inside fender mounting done in 1939.
The truck retains the 6 volt system whether headlight bulbs, generator, starter, regulator.
