Vehicle Description

This is my 1956 Pontiac Star Chief. I purchased it from the original family and I am the second owner. It is a very Road worthy car, we've taken it on many tours and car shows. 317 V8. 4 Barrel dual exhaust, which in 1956 for Star Chief options only. Very rare air conditioning. It blows cool but not ice cold. Four cans of R12 freon will come with the car. Compressor works great. There are a lot of little features and special options. Working spotlight, a trunk light that goes around the car. Beautiful original unrestored vehicle. It's had some paint touch up, but has never been restored. I literally took the plastic off the back seat when I bought it from the original owner. Interior is original and beautiful. Factory chrome tow hitch. Hood ornament still lights up too. Not a perfect car, but a very nice, drivable, original car. Power steering, power brakes, air conditioning. Some lacquer check on hood paint. Tires are Coker reproduction White Walls installed in 2018, bias ply. Coker makes radial tires now. It has a new fuel sending unit in the gas tank and front left wheel bearing has recently been replaced. All the brakes have been gone through. Battery less then a year old.
