COVID put a damper on racing and the previous owner has hung up his spurs. The car would be fun at track days or could be easily converted to an awesome street machine.The car has addressed many of TDs problems-lack of power-after installing a Ford V-60 the builder decided to switch to a TR 3 engine and transmission-plenty of power-comparable weight. He also addressed braking issues-installed MGB disc brakes with updated suspension components-shocks, sway bar, A arms. Some spare parts are included. Car has a fire suppression system, fuel cell, custom dash, rewired, aluminum radiator, switch controlled electric fan, Tilton brake system, hard wired transponder, Optima battery, two bomber seats (one for passenger), Brooklands wind screens, MGB rear end (see pix), new 72 spoke wire wheels (MGB hubs) with new Dunlop vintage race tires plus an unused spare wheel and tire (see pix) and a really well built roll bar. Car has a Florida title and is currently registered for the street. Although not installed, it has headlights mounted on bracket.Other than some stone chips, the body cleans up very smartly. I have been considering painting front and rear fenders black after a quick scuff. I like the two tone look.The car needs only routine prep for the track (check and/or replace fluids) I would flush the brake fluid because the car has been sitting for six years (brakes work and pedal is hard) Seat belts (Race Quip) will need replacing for most race organizations. I would suggest getting fire supression system recharged although needle is in green. Grade 8 thoughout.Car is in Orlando and I will help with transporting. Questions? Please ask. I have raced TDs forever (see article attached) and the vintage members are great. I am restoring a street TD, just bought a 1929 Model A speedster that raced on the beach here in Florida in the 40's and 50's and my "regular" vintage race car is being prepped for the season.
