Vehicle Details
4x4 metric ton Jeep Comanche. This truck has the desirable 4.0 inline 6 with multi port fuel injection. the transmission was upgraded to a professionally rebuilt ax-15, 5 speed manual transmission. np231 transfer case with high and low range. Stock Dana 44 rear differential. It has the factory optioned metric ton package that came with a Dana 44 and larger brakes. Dana 30 front differential. It has a 4" short arm suspension lift with tough aftermarket upper and lower control arms. The upper arms are adjustable. The sway bar is detachable for the trails. Power steering, power brakes, disc in the front drums in the rear. Factory front skid plate and gas tank skid plate. Very tough front and rear bumpers with an integrated receiver hitch on the rear bumper. Exhaust was replaced from the exhaust manifold back a few years ago with a flowmaster muffler. All hoses and belts are less then 10 years old. Bed has the factory optional plastic bed liner. The headlights are led with aluminum housings and tempered glass lenses. The bulbs are replaceable. Very bright HID offroad lights. 9,500lbs electric winch with remote. 4 channel amplifier with pioneer speakers and a Panasonic deck. The cooling system has been converted to open loop with a nice aluminum radiator. The hydrolic slave cylinder on the clutch has been converted to external for ease of access. The emergency brake does not work, but I might have it looked at this week. The rockers, wheel wells, frame and bed are 100% rust free. The steering feels great driving through the canyons, its nice and tight. But it drives like a lifted 4x4 pickup going down the highway. The tailgate has a dent and the drivers side upper cab corner has a dent. The rear bumper prevents the tailgate from opening. I had planned on hinging it sideways but never got around to it. The bumper could be modified or lowered as other alternatives. Truck body has a few small dings. The paint is presentable but has a few minor flaws. The tires are in good shape and have a nice set of aftermarket rims with a proper offset to give the truck a nice wide stance. No wheel spacers. Clean title in hand.
