Introduction: 1946 Ford Super Deluxe Business Coupe. This is a good running and driving 1946 Ford. I've attached a video of the 46 Ford running. It has duel exhausts and the engine sounds good. I will gladly answer any of your questions. I have been an EBay member for many years, and I have 1300 positive feedbacks on EBay from buyers of my old car parts and old cars. I'm not a car dealer. I'm a retired college professor that loves old cars. With this information in mind, I will outline both the positive and negative aspects of my 1946 Ford. The reason I'm selling the Ford is the reality that I'm 84 years old, and I don't have the time or funds to finish all of my car projects. First the positive aspects of my 1946 Ford Super Deluxe Business Coupe. The "Super Deluxe" trim statement comes from the fact that it is printed on the Utah Clean title. The Ford comes with a copy of the previous owner's California title showing that it was an original "Black Plate" car. As a California car, it is almost completely rust free. The original floors, from the trunk to dash, are completely rust free. The body has surface rust and has a classic original patina. Again, please look closely at the photos. The engine starts easily and runs good. The transmission is the original "three on the tree" column shift. It shifts smoothly through all of the gears, and the clutch works well. It has a completely new original brake system. New brake master cylinder, new wheel cylinders, and new brake shoes. It has a new fuel system. New gas tank, new fuel pump, and rebuilt carburetor. The single seat is aftermarket, but is in excellent condition. The tires are almost new and are in very good condition. It also comes with a clean, rust free fender for the Passenger's side rear and some dash gauges. It has the new regulator wires and a complete laminated wiring diagram to make installation or wiring easy. Both the front and rear bumpers are new re-plated chrome bumpers. Second the negative aspects of my 1946 Ford: Prior to my ownership, the wiring harness was removed for restoration, but wasn't replaced. It needs a complete wiring harness for the lights, etc. It is missing the spare tire. It needs door panels and headliner. The speedometer is missing and it needs the dash pieces as shown in the photos. It needs hood springs.Also, the driver's side flat door glass is missing and some of the additional window glass is showing its age. Fortunately, there are several old Ford parts companies that make finding any of the missing parts easy to find. Again, If you have any questions, give me a call.
