For your consideration is one of the most iconic Chevrolet Trucks every produced. If you ever wanted to be in a Hallmark movie or make your own Holiday Cards, this is the opportunity you've been looking for! This 1946 Chevy Truck is equipped with the 3.5L 216.5 Inline 6cyl engine and a 4 speed manual transmission. The Paint is older and still shows very well and shines at any angle. The wood is in very good condition. I would call this a very good driver quality vehicle. No rust bubbles, cracks, or trouble areas. Undercarriage is very clean, straight, and solid. Floors and body mounts are all in tact, solid, and not cobbled up or patched. It is all painted a flat black with no undercoat. Its an extremely solid truck. All of the chrome, stainless, emblems, bumpers, Trim, and Grill and show nicely as well.
She rides, drives, and handles how you would expect a 79 year old truck to be. It has newer brakes, shocks, and the normal maintenance has been done so it has updated parts. And it's been reliable truck. But these trucks were designed to go 35-40 mph max. Its a great promotion for your business or a parade vehicle, or a local car show cruiser. She's not something I would fly in and drive home 1,000 miles. The Tan Interior shows nicely. All of the lights, gauges, wipers, turn signals work as they should. This truck is ALL STEEL, including running boards and fenders. The fit and finish of the body lines are also very nice. And also has a real wood bed with stainless trim.
