1946 Chevrolet Other Pickups AK series post war 3100 barn find rat rod

Vehicle Description

For auction is an unrestored unmolested 1946 Chevrolet AK truck. It is the shortbed. The truck has very little rust as you can see from the pictures. It was pulled in a garage for repairs in 1980 and never moved again. The oil pan is off and one main cap is removed and one rod cap. It looks to me like the person was checking the bearings for wear. One main has some wear and so does that journal on the crank. I have a NOS main bearing and all the pieces to reassemble. The motor is perfectly free and has no damage form the pan being off so long. I have 2 spare motors, 2 trans, 2 rear ends with enclosed driveshafts, carbs, distributers, fuel pumps, etc. I did remove the fuel tank (under the seat) and tossed it as it was rusted through the top (mouse nests) and fuel of rotten fuel. I have the complete original floorboad that has been removed. I also have a spare hood. I even have a spare door glass where the one in the door is cracked. I do have a clean Virginia title. I also have a 1946 Virginia tag cleared by the DMV. Please let me know if you have any questions. I am located in WIrtz, VA and have a shop where you could really check it out on a lift if desired.
