Vehicle Description

Up for grabs is a 1961 Willy's CJ3B. The vehicle is highly original, sporting it's F134 engine, 3 speed manual transmission with dual transfer case 4wd, the CJ has only logged approximately 57,000 original miles. This is very much a survivor jeep. At some point in its past (likely the late 70's early 80's as that's the era the Bestop Dual-matic white vinyl top is from) the jeep was restored and updated with a vinyl top with doors, front lock hubs, roll bar (not currently on the vehicle, but will come with it), new tailgate (cj5 style), rear seat (cj5?), paint, trim accents, upholstery, and chrome 16 inch American Racing Wheels.
More recent additions include a new fuel pump, starter solenoid, spark plugs, battery, and main gauge within the past 2 years.
It Will also come with the original gauge, new 100 amp alternator and mounts for conversion, belt, high cranking starter, engine gasket kit, fuel pickup and gasket (current one can leak slightly if you over fill the gas tank), fabric outdoor cover, and flat tow triangle bar. Original starter and generator are in full working order and parts were purchased with plans to make future modifications.
Various nicks and scratches in the paint. Original Main gauge was replaced due to the speedometer cable coming loose and damaging the internals in it. It will be included in the box with parts for mileage tracking and potential repair. Has original heater, but it is non-functional. Original vacuum wipers are also non-functional. Runs and drives GREAT. We take it out several times a week if the weather allows. Top goes on and off easily once you know how to do it. "Stickers" on body and rear bumper are magnets and will be removed prior to transfer unless buyer would like them left on.
Max speed is approx 65mph (I wouldn't drive it on the interstate, but I've made several 100+mile highway drives in it). Guaranteed to turn some heads!!
