Vehicle Description

This is your chance to own a 1964 Volvo 1800S. I purchased this car back in 1991 and have had extensive restoration work done to it over the years to make it the perfect "bar" car. This is not a "show" car by any means, but it could be a nice starter car for someone who is serious about owing a car that is guaranteed to get looks where ever you drive it.

Here is what I can tell you. This car was made in Sweden. It was originally white, then painted candy apple red, and then painted Ford Import Black with a clear coat applied to it. This car has had it's engine rebuilt and it has roughly 13,500 miles on this engine. The car has a reproduction interior as far as carpeting, new seats, reupholstered dash, reproduction floor mats... the backseat is all original, but under the seat had been professionally re-webbed.

The wire rims were purchased from Don Thibault in 2006. I do have the rims that came with the car if you want them, we can talk...

Long story short, this is not a show car, but a car to have fun in. It is nice to take on trips, but it does not have air conditioning. This is not a car to drive across country, and it is not going to get you 3 million miles. If you cannot stand a car that is not all original, this is not the car for you.

I will be happy to answer any questions that I can, to the best of my abilities. The car will eventually need to repainted. There are a few bumps and bubbles. The horns are no longer working. about Please feel free to contact me a test drive. I live in Green Bay, WI.

Please note that I do not think this car was ever available in BLACK. I had the exterior and interior professionally painted BLACK because that was the color that I wanted them to be. This car does have an Overdrive, so it would be considered a 5 Speed.

As of 8/5, I am throwing in some additional parts that came with the car. I don't have many specifics but you can see them in the pictures.
