The Volvo has gone through a full frame off restoration and we have MANY receipts and photos that will be sent with the vehicle. Production of the 1800 was transferred in 1963 from Jensen, England to Volvo's plant in Sweden, and the model designation was changed from P1800 to 1800S. The cabin features black leather racing seats with color matching door panel inserts, carpeting, and a Race Car Factory custom built roll bar. Appointments include 5-point harness seat belts, GT Grant steering wheel, upgraded Auto Meter short sweep white faced gauges with a 160-MPH speedometer, 10K RPM, and auxiliary gauges for oil, water temp, fuel, battery voltage, and your air/fuel ratio gauge. The five-digit odometer shows 4,148 miles (actual mileage is unknown). The 1800S is finished in Graphite Gray and has been fully repainted. It now features two black racing stripes down the center. Additional features include the bull horn front bumpers and chrome trim. It now features 15 Panasport racing wheels wearing BF Goodrich tires, 205/60R15 all the way around. Once you open the hood, you are greeted by a 13B rotary engine from a 1991 RX7 which was rebuilt by RX7 World. Consignor states that less than 5,000 miles have been added since the rebuild. Additional upgrades include JDM transmission from a 1990 RX7 turbo, flywheel from RX7 turbo, clutch and pressure plate from RX7 turbo, Holley fuel pressure regulator 12-804, and professional products electric fuel pump. Carb is Dellorto 48DHLA tow barrel side draft with racing beat upper intake and racing beat headers. It has a Truetrac limited slip rearend and Dana 27 with 3.91 gears. VPD coils, front and rear.
