1974 VOLVO 164E.The odometer shows 53.852 miles. We can't guarantee it is correct but we have no reason not to believe that it is either.Straight 6 B30 engine, Fuel injection, Power steering, Power brakes, Disc brakes, Factory A/C.
Volvo's flagship luxury car!Arizona car with a perfect body!If you know old Volvo's you know they are fantastic cars that will go forever but they tend to rust.
This 164 is super dry and rust free, the trade off is that the black leather interior is somewhat dry (seat covers and dash pad), the headliner, door panels etc are fine.I have been restoring old cars for the last 33 years here in Arizona and can have the seats redone before shipping the car if that is of interest.I don't know any history of this nice and totally rust free 164 except it sat for a few years before we bought it.We have cleaned it up, started up the car (engine sounds great), replaced the fuel pump, battery etc and the car is running and driving very good. The tires are a little dry.
The Volvo is complete except the left front fender side trim.
As the climate is brutally hot in Arizona in the summer the tail light lenses have dried to the point the orange turn signal lenses are almost white and the plastic on top has disintegrated.
The car is in very, very good condition except for the dry interior and paint that is of driver quality, not better than that.
We bought the 164 cheap and we are selling with no reserve starting at a low $3500.
My restoration shop has exported classic cars from Arizona all over the world for the last 33 years so export to any country is never a problem and of course we also sell within the US.
