Vehicle Description

Classic 1969 Volvo 142S very low miles for its age 107,200. This vehicle has spent its entire life in semi-arid Colorado, was sold new in Colorado Springs. 99% rust free with the exception being that there are 2 very small spots behind the rear wheels (about the size of a half dollar). Paint is all original.Recent work on vehicle includes new valve jobwith hardened seats, new plugs, oil and filter and carbs rebuilt. Car runs and drives very good, brakes are 4 wheel disc and work well, steering is tight, trans shifts smooth, suspension also tight. all glass is goo, but bottom of windshield is showing signs of de-laminating(see photo). Tires are like new, but are several years old. Weakest part of car is the interior, it is all original but needs to be restored.Hagerty old car value guide puts the following values on a 1969 142s at: Excellent at 9500, good at 6200 and fair at 4100. NADA values are: high at 13,250, average at 7875 and low at 4250.I would rate the outside and drive train at good/average and the interior at fair/low, so reserve will be set accordingly.Vehiclebeing sold in "AS IS" condition, with no warrantyimplied per Colorado used car laws .
