1979 Volkswagen Super Beetle Red

This 1979 Volkswagen Super Beetle is an older restored vehicle. The owner has had it for 5+ years. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend and back roads scenic drives.

Vehicle Details

VW Super Beetle in red with tan interior. The car body, paint and floors were restored around 10 years ago, and the interior recently with new seat covers, carpet, door panels, etc. The car was originally yellow but the color was changed to red. The tan top has a small tear but I am including a new uninstalled white top which can replace the tan top. The car has been well maintained and had recent new clutch, pressure plate and several new gaskets while the engine was out. Also installed were new heads as the original heads and valves needed upgraded and new fuel pump, injectors, pertronix ignition. Also the front end suspension and steering have had new seals and bushings installed and then aligned. The interior has installed tach, voltage, temperature, oil pressure gauges and am/fm radio. The heat system has been repaired and useable as this feature is not always working in several older Beetles I have observed so you can drive it year round. Very fun to drive and easily keeps up with traffic 65 mph and under on back 2 lane roads where I have driven it the most. I am also including a new rear drivers fender as a deer ran into the side and current fender is repaired by average at best. Probably other upgrades that are slipping my mind. Item is sold “as is”. Will assist for transport and car is located only 1 mile off I75 in Northern Ky.
