We are offering for sale our 1964 VW Type 1 Beetle Sedan. This car is finished in eye-catching Poppy Red, with an off-white interior including original style basketweave vinyl seats. The Beetle has had a complete documented restoration (exterior, interior and mechanical). The engine has been professionally rebuilt with a 1400 cc Big Bore kit, ensuring reliability and plenty of horsepower for highway driving. It’s an original Beetle, right down to its factory Bendix Sapphire AM radio. The car has a total of only 66,091 original miles, including just 5700 miles since restoration. The Beetle has been carefully maintained and is garaged indoors. It is currently registered.

Restoration highlights are the rebuilt engine, complete interior replacement (seats, carpets, door cards, headliner), new brakes, new clutch, new tires, replacement of all body and window rubber. It has been upgraded to a modern dual-circuit brake system and seat belts have been installed. The Beetle runs, handles and brakes like a brand-new car. Everything works perfectly. An original style roof rack is included with purchase,as well as the official Bentley shop manual, owners manual and an original style tool kit.
