Vehicle Description
Very original early build Meyers Manx patterned after 'Old Red'. I have dad in storage 25 years before refresh in 2022. Sweet running 40 HP 1200, plenty of power for this lightweight. New brake components from lines to drums, every piece. Pans ok, small rust through in driver footwell where sound deadening cracked. Body in great shape, rare original top with side curtains. New tires and upholstery. Titled as a '72 Beetle. built by a father/son team in the early '70's; I purchased in the 90's and stored for 25 years--got it back on the road in '22--went completely through it: every brake component is new; new tires, re-ring and valve job (bottom end was solid, needed nothing); buggy is close to build of "Old Red'', Bruce Meyers original, except for being orange!
