Vehicle Description

This 1991 burgundy Volkswagen Vanagon Westfalia camper is pretty much all original. The owner has had it for 3 years. The vehicle is drivable and is mainly used for weekend drives.

Vehicle Details

Runs great!!!!! Save a lot of money, over a fresh rebuild or swapped engine Westfalia… Those things, in this condition, are often $10k more, than this van…. Well cared for Westfalia, originally from Canada, so odometer is in Kilos, so mileage is about 215K… Beautiful burgundy color!

Some of the pictures look like the paint is faded and scratched, but these are reflections as the paint is very shiny… clear coat is all intact…. it’s not perfect, but is in overall very good condition!!!

4 brand new 15” tires, new starter battery, new brakes, new fuel lines, new pop top canvas, recently tuned.

Lots of subtle upgrades and add-ons, like pneumatic lifters on pop top, Land Rover mirrors, short throw shifter, heavy duty sway bar, upgraded stereo with powered sub, shurflow faucet, new pop top tent canvas, LED lighting, GPS Speedo in mph (original Speedo and odo work fine, modern power ports, braided brake lines, nifty cup holders, add-a-room side tent, second battery for camp use, new Bentley book, a little DVD player, Mr buddy heater, a foam bed topper made for westy (new in box… never used!!!), and whatever else I might find to include!

It’s pretty much a bone-stock, old school vanagon westfalia! Fun to drive and always gets attention at the campsite!

Stove sink and fridge all work fine. Very clean, in and out. Has all privacy curtains and even an extra windshield curtain. Both tables. Someone will get a fun camper! Does not leak any oil or coolant!!

Has transferable WA collector plates on it. (WA state, only)

Uh oh! Here’s some Cons, as the van is almost 35 years old— Has AC, that doesn’t work, (most AC’s don’t work at this point, anyway, including many engine swapped vans. Door electrical stuff was removed many years ago, by previous owner, so it’s back to cranking windows and locking doors the old fashioned way. Does have some very minor and repairable rust spots and dings.

Selling because I don’t use it, as intended and we need the garage space back… driven at least a few times a month, to keep things moving.
