Vehicle Description

Very cool 1970 Volkswagen Bus! Classic copper paint color that looks great. This bus was passed down to us from a family member, but there is just no way we have the adequate time to truly enjoy it. We have looked over it and it has little to no rust that we can see. The exterior body and paint look fantastic for the age of the vehicle. We took some close up shots to show blemishes/imperfections. We have a receipt from one year ago in which the bus got all new brakes all the way around, all new clutch, new alternator, and wheel cylinders/bearings. It also has a newer battery. The bus does start right up and runs as shown in the video. We are not mechanics, but it does seem like it will need some additional work to the engine. It does drive, and it shifts smoothly, but we certainly would not drive it further than around the block without having a mechanic look at it. It definitely feels like it needs a tune-up. The interior has been redone at some point, and it is a cool and functional interior. Some of the windows will need new weather stripping, the driver’s side mirror needs tightened up. The lights and windshield wipers work. The radio works, but is not hooked up. It has an awesome horn that works! We drove it just a block or two into town and got a lot of “thumbs up” and honks! Our family member used the bus for photo shoots, so included a picture she took.
