1971 VW 23-window bus/van. This is a very nice, running and driving VW 23-window bus. Rare and way cool !!! Very nice original body and recently redone interior. Paint is very presentable. New seats, carpet. Some rubber seals on windows replaced. All glass is nice. Solid bumpers. The chrome/stainless trim is very nice and I don't see anything missing. Has the convertible pop-up top. The floors are all in excellent condition. The front doors open and shut solidly. The side double door opens and shuts well but needs a very minimal adjustment. Has a locking gas door and fuel cap. The speedometer and odometer work. The fuel gauge doesn't. Heater makes noise but blows weak. All windows front and rear prop out and hold. The headlights and tail lights are working and the turn signals on all 4 corners blink. Brake lights work. Radial tires are good. Original VW hubcaps. Clean engine bay. New battery. I do have the original air cleaner. No radio. I assume the new owner will install a modern radio/stereo/CD etc unit. Exhaust is a bit noisy and could use a new muffler. This is a very cool, rare, running and driving '71 VW bus/van. New reproduction original looking roof racks (front and back and side ladder) can be added for about $1000 total.
