Vehicle Description

Selling my 1986 Volkswagen Vanagon Westfalia Weekender. This Vanagon runs and drives great. I have taken it on many local trips. One of the most solid I have seen!! I bought it out of Colorado. It has never been undercoated so you are seeing what you get!! Floors and rockers are solid with no evidence of ever being patched. The factory 2.1L engine has about 12,000 miles on the rebuild per the previous owner. Unfortunately I don't have records of the build. It has a smooth shifting 4 speed manual transmission, power front disc brakes, power steering, upgraded stereo with bluetooth, and aftermarket wheels. The stereo has been disconnected due to a draw, but shouldn't take much to fix that. It was repainted at the time of restoration and it was done correctly. The decals are awesome and really make the exterior pop. The odometer does not work, it is stuck on 000007. It may be the speedometer cable but I'm not sure. I wouldn’t hesitate to drive this anywhere!! Clean NC title in my name. Let me know if you have any questions. This is the most solid Vanagon priced under $20k on the east coast, I promise! No rush to sell, I'm enjoying camping in it and will continue to use it this summer! I have 3 other classics and trying to lighten the heard. If you don’t have enough cash JJ Best Banc will finance the purchase!! www.jjbest.com
