1971 VW camper/van - original interior, many mechanical upgrades.

Current location - Nevada City, CA.

I bought this van on eBay about a dozen years ago. It was in Florida and I had it shipped to NY where I registered it. I drove it in and round New York quite a bit during that period. I had in mind to use it for a TV show where it would be a character. We shot a couple pilots, but that show never materialize, so I drove it cross country and kept it in storage in CA. I was able to transfer the registration and it has had CA registration ever since. It does not have (and never had) a title, which hasn’t been a problem for me in getting it registered in these two states, but it seems to be a little tricky to sell for some reason. I understand that there are ways around this. I am selling it for far less than I have invested in it, which is close to 25k. Below is a list of all the repairs it has received since I have owned it.

While in storage it has a developed a little rust, which is shown in the video. It has not been driven regularly for at least five years and will definitely need a little TLC. Because of this I am selling it “as is.” It might not need much to be road-worthy.

The interior is original and shows a bit of wear. But everything is there.

The ignition key is a little sticky but it works. You might need to replace that.
