Vehicle Description

1967 Convertible beetle extremely fun to drive. All Metal work done:Heater channels replaced, floor pans replaced, convertible support rails replaced and luggage area new. Doors open and close perfectly. Correct convertible pan.Engine (Believed to be original)Leaks zero oil. Engine looks to have all new parts and was rebuilt less than 100 miles ago from my understanding. Car is fast with a lot of pickup and go and is a lot of fun to drive. This car always makes you smile.New:Basically everything on the car is new too much to name from drop spindles, running boards, exhaust, wiper blades, antenna, front glass window rubber, Vintage Speed shifter, Wolfsburg West front bumper, Sewfine boot for $600, new tires, shocks and brake job recently completed. All matching key ignition, door handles and rear decklid lock. (Will need key made) I'll try to find the original key before auction ends currently using a temp.Needs finishingInterior/top/Wiring Looks to be original/Includes new Wolfsburg West wire harness, flasher switch, back window and various other parts a lot of it original engine parts like the air filter.(turn signals, brake lights and horn not hooked up but wiring is there)Shifter will need adjustment but transmission works perfectly.Overall:Car looks new from the bottom. This 60 year old car drives completely straight, feels (solid), extremely strong and handles like a dream, idles good, paint is dusty from being garaged but shows well unless you look for imperfections. Does have some scratches and some small dents on the passenger side which happened during years in storage. The scratches look like they can be touched up and the dings pulled out. (I'll photo all the imperfections I can find at the end of the photos) I was happy to drive it a few times as is with the boot on the car and would have no problem leaving it that way because it is a convertible. All the waves and thumbs up from everyone makes you smile.Feel free to ask me any questions before bidding. Can help with shipping. $500 none refundable deposit at auction no headaches please. Willing to accept cashiers check (cleared) cash or buyers financing is okay too. Car is sold best to my knowledge and as is.
