1964 Volkswagen Convertible Bug Beetle VW

1964 Volkswagen Convertible Bug Beetle. This Convertible was built December of 1963 and is considered a 1964. Matching pan numbers with the body. Current non op status California registration. The pan half’s have been replaced with a little surface rust. In the pics it shows red paint peeling on the bottom but the pan is solid with only surface rust on the inside. The rear quarter panels have a few dents but the body is overall pretty straight with no rust. As seen in the pics, the rails are pretty solid with little metal work to be done. The doors shut nice with good door gaps. The top mechanism is there, but will need a new top and back window, which I don’t have. The wiring will need some work or replaced. It has a built single port motor that runs really good. It has a narrowed beam and is lowered front and rear. The front tires are 135s and the rears are 165s. All the roll down windows work. The convertible seat back is there and the interior needs to be restored.This Vert is really desirable because it’s the last year of the small windows.Please feel free to reach out with any questions.
