1980 VW Westfalia

Vehicle Description

This is a well- maintained Air-cooled Westfalia. History of repairs/upgrades/conversions documented. Numerous new parts, (gas tank, fuelpump, fuel lines, cv boots, all rubber bushings, hoses, belts due to this being a desert vehicle) plus interior original parts, made in Germany. New Hancock white-wall tires. It's a Canadian model so has kilometers on the odometer vs. miles per hour. Fuel injectors malfunctioned and three mechanics could not get it running smooth so I replaced with a Progressive Weber 32/36 carbuerator and she is much more peppy/powerful; however, if desired, the original fuel injector can be included with the van. Original Volkswagen engine was replaced w/ another Volkswagen engine (mileage unknown) at over 250K and odometer reads 323K. Manual transmission. Stove and faucet operational. Pop up canvas has some tears but is usable. Interior (see photos) is in great condition. AM/FM front-popout Kenwood stereo included.
