1972 VW SAFARE' CUSTOM CAMPER Bubble Top Bus Van built 06/1972.

This bus is in great shape body wise, no rust through anywhere, some surface rust but not a big deal, as you can see in the pictures. Clean California title and is non-operational in the State no back penalties fees of any kind. No engine, came with a 1750cc engine (pancake) with dual solex carburetors, does have a good transmission, dashboard is in good condition and all the wiring is in good shape. I purchase this bus from a friend that owned it for over 20 years; they took it all apart to do a full restoration but never got completed. I was a VW mechanic and restored buses mainly for over 40 years and don’t have the time to do the restoration myself. It is a great start for someone and will make into a very solid bus.
