Background:The is a unique German Domestic Market (GDM) vehicle. It has specific characteristics that are not USDM. The car was imported some time after the initial sale in 1965.
Restoration:This car was purchased in 2004 when restoration began. All new parts were added (not one bolt was left unaltered). New floor pans were welded in and the entire chassis was powdercoated. All new paint, interior, powertrain, etc. were upgraded. There are too many performance upgrades to list.
Present Day:Since completion in 2013, the engine has less than 1,000 miles on it. The car has never been driven in rain and has always been garage kept.
