Classic 1981 Volkswagon rabbit convertible

Vehicle Description

1981 Rabbit convertible with a gas 4 cylinder engine. It is front wheel drive with mechanical fuel injection. SUPER FUN 5 speed manual transmission. It has VERY little rust - vehicle is from Indiana. The odometer stopped working at 64,000 miles. The mileage is estimated to be about 70K but because I can't prove it, the title simply says that it's past it's mechanical limitations. Title in hand. The top and tires were replaced 3 years ago, and it has been driven very little since that time.
Convertible top is in excellent shape.
It's rock solid mechanically - needs some TLC on interior and body. Small dent on front left quarter panel. You could drive the car anywhere..engine never burns or leaks oil. AC pump needs to be replaced.
