1959 Single Cab Pick Up Sealing Wax Red with Factory Option Cyclone Light
Excellent Restored Condition Includes:
Body completely stripped of old paint, bodywork completed, primer sealed, block sanded and painted back to the original Sealing Wax Red. Original bed metal in excellent condition, treasure chest in excellent condition as well. Includes factory Optional Cyclone Light for the ultimate in original factory coolness! Underside in clean, clean, clean. Zero rust or corrosion.
Interior includes new upholstery, headliner and carpet - ultra clean inside!
Engine is a new rebuilt very low miles 1600 dual port, 34 pict carburetor, 009, new sheet metal, very clean, no drips, leaks and starts right up every time!
Rebuilt original transmission.
Rebuilt front end is nice and tight.
New 12 volt electrical system including wiring harness, everything works great!
Original glass with new seals, window felt and gaskets.
Spare tire, original jack and tire wrench.
Starts right up, runs and drives great.
Clear California title and current 2017 registration.
This is an excellent example of an early single cab VW Type II ready to enjoy and be proud of at all the coffee and cars, VW shows and vintage auto events. Needs nothing and is a great investment.
