Solid, rust free 1968 VW Beetle. No disappointments. 1600cc engine, electronic ignition, doghouse oil cooler, idles and runs well. Brakes straight, newer front disk and rear drum brakes. Many new brake lines and hoses. Transmission shifter is tight and predictable. Transmission upshifts and downshifts well.
Lowered Ball Joint Beam, Front disk brakes, EMPI GT-8 VW Wheels with new tires.
Complete new wiring from the fuse block to the headlights, blinkers to the tail lights and the engine. Interior is exceptionally clean with no strange odors. Seats are very comfortable. New retractable seatbelts. New sound system. New rubber moldings, new windshield. Handles well, nice highway manners.
Downside;1. Cabin heat is not hooked up. 2. Parking brake is not working.3. Recommend clutch adjustment. Upside;No rust thru anywhere.
