I have been tinkering with this car for a long time. It has many new parts and features. Here are the highlights:
1500cc engine (1979) that was ported, large valves, chromoly tubular push rods, hard tappets, Elgin cam, 1.55 roller rockers, bored .060 over, Nitrated crank, light weight fly wheel, dual row timing chain, PRI ceramic coated equal length headers, 2” exhaust, Mallory unilite distributor, Custom intake manifold and 4 Keihin CR Special 33mm racing carbs. Carbs are apart and need rebuild. I have a kit of seals for them. MSD ignition. WOSP starter. Aluminum Radiator with electric fan. Stock ‘79 transmission. 1500 drive shaft.
15” Empi style wheels with BF Goodrich g Force 195/15/50 tires. Range Rover wheel studs with tuner nuts. New brake shoes/pads. New brake hoses. new brake lines. New shocks. New transverse spring kit and front sway bar to make Mk2 geometry like a 1500. .5” lowering block in rear. New A arm bushings. Shorter coil springs in front. New ball joints. Gas shocks for bonnet. Gas tank cleaned and sealed. New fuel level sender. Side and front panels in trunk. Seat covers replaced. New carpet set. Aftermarket fuse block. Summit Tachometer. Good top. Electric fuel pump.
