Vehicle Description

Listing for sale my 1980 Triumph Spitfire 1500. I bought it off a fellow member of the Minnesota triumph club a couple years ago while I was looking for a solid rust free spitfire as a car to improve over the winter. This is my 4th spitfire and my 7th triumph. I’m a big fan of spits. I removed the interior, motor/trans/diff and did a light restoration. The car was solid and ran good but it needed improving. It was repainted in the original white in the 90s and holds up really well. Engine bay was stripped and painted with POR. Engine stripped and painted. Two hairline cracks in the paint on the hood and some light scratches where the hardtop meets the rear deck. The only things that need doing is the windshield has scratch’s where the wiper blade was bad. . Needs new wiper switch( working but won’t turn off) . When you turn the lights on the tach drops a few numbers( a bad ground) That’s all it needs. It starts right up on the choke and runs strong, just drove it 20+ miles. This is not a flip just a hobby of mine. I’ve got over 10k into the spitfire so you get to enjoy the benefits of a well running, solid refurbished Spitfire 1500. Thanks for looking! And feel free to make an offer.
