1972 Triumph Stag Red

1972 Triumph Stag. I got this from an estate in Colorado where it had been store since 1997. I rebuilt and tuned the twin carburetors, replaced the rear brakes, shoes wheel cylinders and turned drums. Replaced the clutch master and slave cylinder. New battery. Changed oil, flushed brake fluid. It has all five true knock off wire spoked wheels, I replace the front tires and the spare tire. Starts right up and runs fine, the four speed shifts great. The carpet was removed because of stains and will need replaced with a new available carpet kit. The hardtop is removable and the soft top stores in the boot behind the rear seat where the original top frame is but the soft top needs replaced. It was repainted with lacquer paint in the 90’s before storage and the lacquer cracked, pealed and flaked off as you can see in the photos. This car is very rust free top to bottom. This car is 53 years old and has been stored for many years so it will need some tlc etc. but what a solid, rare, original sports car!
