toyota land cruiser fj80 used

Vehicle Description
Typical 80 Series story.....I change the oil and it just keeps going and going and going. I've owned it for 5 years, bought here in Taos locally, I believe it was in Denver before that. It was stock and all indications point to the head casket having been done, the radiator looked/looks new, the pesky heater hose was already done and randomly an upgraded wiring harness for the headlights from Slee was already installed. This leads me to believe that the previous owner new what they were doing. I don't have records to verify this. I have however driven it from New Mexico to Montana twice, Chicago twice, Colorado numerous times, from Montana over to Seattle and back down through Moab etc with literally zero issues. I've gotten it to a sort of cross roads, leave the paint and interior alone and wheel it as is or go ahead and finish a more thorough restoration with new paint and upholstery etc......Parts.....Good stuff....3 inch Dobinsons Coils-heavy load(I have a set of 4 inch coils as well to go with)King 2.5 remote res shocksDelta radius armsDelta rear panhard/track bar bracketDobinsons heavy duty adjustable front panhard/track barHeavy duty tie rod and drag link with new ends(555) from Marlin CrawlerHeavy duty adjustable rear upper links from Ironman AustraliaNitro 4.88 gears(set up by my mechanic who owns 3 80 Series, not me in my driveway)Nitro chromoly rear axle shaftsRCV front shafts/birfsDetroit in the rearTruTrac in the frontARP front drive flange studsThicker/wider front drive flanges from 95/974xLabs slidersTrail Gear front tube bumperSherpa winch (from Australia) 15kTwo Rigid LED flood lights(switch wired into dash)Delta dual battery system w/washer relocation, OEM passenger side tray, "smart" controller, Odyssey batteriesTom Woods front drive shaft(double cardan)Icon Alloys 17 nch wheels (the studs/bolts go through the rim and are a functional "beadlock", sealed with O rings)37 inch BFG All TerrainsUpgraded front brake rotors from SleeBirfs re sealed last couple years with new OEM partsNew o ring around the oil pump( I let my mechanic do it)New OEM throttle cableNew window rubber and trimOnly a couple little rust spots but none majorUndercarriage, wheel wells, rocker panels clean, rust freeThis has all been done over the last few years and has practically no wear. I actually haven't had a chance to really go wheel it like I planned. I would love to and had planned on, keeping it forever and taking it over to Moab a couple times a year but that has not panned out. All it's really seen are dirt and forest roads around Northern New Mexico. I just bought a RAM 2500 and plan to build a setup that better fits my actual real world needs......The bad....WindshieldA/C compressor clutch/pulley(started whining, I took the belt off. A/C blows cold)Paint. I personally am not bothered, but it is in bad shapeTypical rear main/upper oil pan drip. I don't like leaks and this has always bothered me but I've never had to add oil in between changes. The odometer was stopped at 160k already when I bought it. Best guess is it is somewhere around 220 now.Driver seat typical worn throughI always wanted an 80 Series and I can say they are as reliable as I had always heard. This thing has never failed to get me where I'm going. It actually saddens me to list it but it's time to move on. I hope the next owner can actually take it to Moab and the Rubicon and all that fun stuff, it's certainly ready to go.
