Vehicle Description

VERY NICE 1972 TOYOTA LAND CRUISER FJ55 "IRON PIG" WITH LOW MILES THAT RUNS AND DRIVES GREAT AND HAS MANY UPGRADES.Please LEAVE PHONE NUMBER before bidding or I WILL CANCEL YOUR BIDS. If feedback below 10 you MUST MESSAGE MEAuction MAY BE STOPPED AT ANY TIME FOR THE RIGHT OFFER.Full Youtube walkaround, startup and driving video here:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U0Tl3iSPmaEVehicle has been collector owned and stored indoors in the midwest mostly. Previous owner had family in Michigan and West Virginia where it spent time in both places. Serviced as needed and used on weekends to run around town on for car shows and cruise nights.Body is GOOD as you can see. Doors open and close well, NO RUST showing on outer panels as you can see. Been repainted in the last few years by previous owner in the correct two tone blue and white you see. Some filler used in a few minor spots. Rear quarters shaved towards the bottom, and some filler on the front lip of hood. Overall it's SOLID. Paint shows fairly well and cleans up nicely with good shine, but is a 10 footer. With a light wetsand and buff it would look great. Does NOT appear to have been hit from the looks of it.Under the hood the original 3.8 Inline 6 was UPGRADED to a 4.2 from an 80s Fj60, with fuel injection and 4 speed manual transmission. Starts up nicely, brakes fine, goes into gear and shifts great and you can easily GET IN AND DRIVE IT TODAY!!!Interior is mostly stock other than the upgraded newer front bucket seats and locking console. Original dash and back seat. Dash pad is cracked which is typical on these. Door panels look ok. Has original front rubber matting. Headliner missing, but I do have one included in decent shape along with the bows. Missing rear cargo section side panels.Underside has a ROCK SOLID frame. Previous owner undercoated it. Floors appear to be ok, do have some small patches in a couple spots. Will need inner rocker panels replaced.Overall this is a VERY RARE and great truck that YOU CAN GET IN AND DRIVE TODAY, but obviously nowhere near perfect. Mostly aesthetic issues I have mentioned. Fog lights need to be connected, Horn not working, not sure if all lights work but I'm sure some minor electrical wiring will need to be done. No radio. Rear window was working last year, now I can't get it to work anymore but everything seems there. I'm sure there are other small issues I can't think of right now so please keep that in mind. CAR WILL NEED SOME FINISHING/TLC/RESTORATION depending on what you want to do with it.With a small investment you'll have a rock solid FJ55. There's only a few dozen of these around, if that many and they're appreciating in value yearly.
