Vehicle Description

Completely restored and custom 1971 Toyota FJ40 Landcruiser. This FJ has been taken down to the frame, the frame was sand blasted and painted using epoxy primer and 2K chassis paint. All rust was cut out and repaired, the body was completely sand blasted and painted. Just about every aspect of this build is custom built!

Runs and drives great! Drives surprising well on the street. This rig is incredible off-road!!

This build was started in March 2023 and completed in December 2024. It has 115 miles since the complete rebuild. Unsure of the mileage before the rebuild as the original cluster was non functional.

There are a few minor scratches on the rocker panels from getting in and out. One tire has minor cuts from off-roading. Some of the window glass has minor pitting. Other than that, it is very very clean!

Completely rebuilt 5.3L LS engine

New flat top pistons, lifters, push rods, bearings seals gaskets. Texas speed camshaft. Rebuilt heads, reconditioned crankshaft and rods.

16” flex fan, transmission cooler, Custom battery box with Deka AGM battery.

Hooker headers, full custom 3” 304 stainless exhaust.

4L60E transmission

NP241 transfer case. Rear slip yoke eliminator, custom short front yoke.

Front high angle 1310 CV driveshaft

Rear high angle 1350 CV driveshaft

17” Dirty life beadlock wheels wrapped in 40x13.5x17 Cooper STT tires. One tire has minor cuts from off-roading.

Front Ford F350 Dana 60 1 ton axle. 5.38 gears, Grizzly locker, Motobilt diff cover, Warn hubs, fully trussed, fully rebuilt with new bearings and seals

Rear Ford F350 Sterling 10.5” 1 ton axle. 5.38 gears, Grizzly locker, Motobilt diff cover, fully trussed, fully rebuilt with new bearings and seals.

Custom front 3 link suspension. 16” Radflo remote reservoir coilovers. Summit Machine 7075 solid aluminum links with Summit Machine billet rod ends. Hydraulic bump stops, limit straps.

Custom rear 4 link suspension. 16” Radflo remote reservoir coilovers. Summit Machine 7075 solid aluminum links with Summit Machine billet rod ends. TK1 racing swaybar. Hydraulic bump stops, limit straps.

Front and rear frame plates to strengthen the frame.

Steering features a PSC high volume pump, PSC remote high capacity reservoir, PSC hydro assist ram, Summit Machine 7075 solid aluminum drag link and tie rod. Custom high steer arms and custom double sheer pitman arm.

Hydroboost brakes, Wilwood master cylinder, new calipers, rotors and pads front and rear

Fully custom dash panel with Autometer digital instrument cluster, 10” touch screen head unit with backup camera. CT sounds front and rear speakers.

Custom built center console with 6 gang Auxbeam switch panel, cup holders, B&M transmission shifter and JB Custom Fabrication transfer case shifter.

Full 6 point roll cage built from 1.75” 120 wall DOM, tied into the frame with bushings

Corbeau Moab front seats. Corbeau Baja rear bench seat.

4 point seat belt harnesses front and rear

GM style tilt column with aftermarket steering wheel

Full Painless chassis wiring harness. Complete wiring with all blinkers, flashers, headlights, tail lights, license plate lights, interior lights.
