1980 RA42 Toyota Celica ST VIPER Model - not running - 5 Speed

Up for sale is an extremely rare 1980 Celica ST 5 speed with a rare aftermarket factory optional package installed call the VIPERREAD this entire description carefully! HUGE BONUS at the end!I jokingly say this is the ORIGINAL VIPER (since its from 1980, so it probably IS the original!) Extremely rare, as I have seen less than 10 cars online and only 2 in person (counting this one!)Previously owned from 1992-2025, but not known why it was parked.Told it ran when parked (yeah... I know)Mileage listed at 13301, pretty sure thats rolled over at least once.FIRST the good stuff! 4 NEW Tires Advanta ER700 195/70R14 (45K mile warranty)HAS ORIGINAL PAINTAll lights and lens intactLower front valance is in great shape! Most are BTFU.Dash looks really really nice (has a dent?) see picsAll glass "but windshield cracked" is nice (I replaced the drivers glass)RARE VIPER Rear spoiler (probably worth $750 now or more)Includes Jack and tools, & tire/tool coversNow the soso description, FYI... Condition of motor, brakes, etc is unknown as I have not tried to start it. (see pictures)Engine bay looks good, everything in its place and am pretty sure it should start ie with battery and CLEAN gas (hence why I have not tried to start it, I have NOT drained the gas tank)This will need a through going over as it needs some body work (tree landed on the left rear (see pics)and was hit in the front left nose (but fender, corner lamp, etc has been replaced, needs painted)rear quarters have some rust thru area, and surface rust in a couple other places on the body.I bought a replacement headlight surround & trim, for the drivers headlight that require the bumper to be removed to install (easiest way)(See Pic, sending with in the trunk)Missing the factory radio, interior is as shown, I did wipe it down, but its not perfect, has some tears in the drivers bottom.Windows do go up and down, but silencers on the doors need replaced (typical) to shut properly without slammingDoor panels are fair to decent, they wiped down good.Trunk area is decent (no spare) but has the trunk liner, jack and tools.rear bumper has issues, and trim is bent (included in trunk)NORMALLY I would part this out and usually get $2500-$3500 just selling the partsbut I no longer have the energy, time or desire to do that to this rare Viper to original!Starting bid will be $2000 and no reserve after that, WORSE case you could break even selling parts!BUYER is responsible for pick up and shipping (at buyers cost)This rolls but does not drive or brake (have not tested)Car sold as is, where is, no warranty expressed or givenIF this does not sell, I may change up and get running, fix a few things and relist later in the year,but I really have other projects that need my time more than thi, would rather sell so someone elsecab have the enjoyment of getting it back on the roadIncludes 2 keys as well!thanks for looking!I have a youtube video on the "VIPER" options as wellSUPER BONUS!!!!!!
