Nice 1985 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ70 with left-hand drive, low mileage, manual transmission, convertible.

The 70-Series Land Cruiser is unique, it was never manufactured for the US market. This Toyota was manufactured in Japan, imported from Columbia and purchased by the current owner located in Montana, we always keep it in a garage.

This Toyota has exceptionally low mileage: 119,135 original miles (191,729 km). Bright red exterior with beige and brown two-tone interior.

The truck is mostly original, powered by a 4.0-liter 3F In-Line-6 linked with a five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. This is the short wheelbase version and it is exceptionally capable in extreme off-road scenarios. It is extremely heavy duty with full floating rear and front axles that use 9.5” and 4-pinion limited slip differentials. It is equipped with power steering, and braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums. The suspension has been upgraded with aftermarket shocks and leaf springs for a mild lift. The current owner replaced the carburetor with a brand new OEM unit and performed many other repairs. VIN FJ70-0005185. Engine # 3F-0101404.

Exterior features include steel front and rear bumper, running boards, hitch, LED auxiliary front lights, sliding side windows, BF Goodrich KM2 32-11.50/15 tires and a brand new 32-11.50/15 BF Goodrich KO3 spare tire. The fiberglass top and the window frames on all doors can be removed to use it as a convertible. The front windshield can also be folded forward and secured to the hood.

Instrumentation includes a speedometer in km/h, tachometer, fuel level, oil pressure, voltage and coolant temperature gauges. Head unit for stereo has USB and Bluetooth hands-free input (including external microphone), as well as backup camera. Upper display panel houses an altimeter and two inclinometers. Interior equipment includes all equipment for air conditioning (currently decommissioned pending clean-up of the evaporator core and conversion to R134), separate rear climate controls, suspended driver and passenger seats with adjustment based on weight. Upholstery on the front seats, rear bench seat and floor lining has been replaced.
