Yes, Mr. George Toyota, that's how we called it in our family. It was built in 1972, imported to Colombia from Japan on August 19th 1972, first sold to Dow Quimica de Colombia in January 10th 1973 and acquired by a family member in 2014.
In 2017 a complete restoration process started and it took almost two years. On August 21st 2018, we applied to obtain an Antique plate in Colombia, after going through a complete inspection, judges gave it a 9.9 score over 10 and a platinum restoration process qualification, Certificate No. is 1001963.
I imported Mr. George to Florida in November 2018. Since then, we haveparticipated locally in a few enthusiast classic cars and charity events where it has received awards. Mr. George has now 220 miles.
