Introduced in 1984, Toyota's new entry level sports car was christened MR2 which was a reference the the car's unique two seat mid engined design. The MR2 featured a 1.5 or 1.6l engine and weighed just 2,300lbs which gave the car incredible handling characteristics. The cars unique squared off shape was very distinctive and the cars have an ever growing cult following even to this day. The car was purchased three years ago from the original owner and was given a no expense spared restoration, with tons of money being invested in everything from a brand new A/C system, to suspension work, to new slotted and drilled rotors, new bushings, new radio and wiring, new exhaust and much more. The car was treated to a bare metal repaint in its original shade of High Gloss Black with red pinstrips and it looks absolutely perfect inside and out. Everything works as intended and it is spotless. The car features the standard 1.6l gasoline inline 4 that was given a full tune up as well as an automatic transmission with overdrive and a sport mode. The car also features the sport pack with the body kit and spoilers as well as the chunky 14in alloy wheels.
