Rather than go into a long description, please see the list of changes /improvements made during the resoration; SEE Restoration items/ upgrades listed below SCROLL DOWN IT IS ABOUT 3 PAGES LONG some restoration changes were made to increase safety of this truck: i.e. converted to 4 wheel disk brakes, replace steering system with crushable steering column and adjustable steering wheel, crash sensor was installed for the electric fuel pump, shoulder belts installed, truck liner was tinted to freeborn red and sprayed on the interior of the cabin. . Skid plates have been left off so potential buyers can see the underside of the truck. All skid plates are coated with POR-15 and go with the truck.I personally restored this FJ-40, all upgrades are documented. .I bought this truck to pull my duck boat and go duck hunting but the further along in the restoration the more I realized it was too nice to beat it up like that. Has never been in weather, stored inside since I have had the vehicle. The vehicle is in a heated hangar at KMGC airport (between Michigan City Indiana and New buffalo Michigan) and I am available to show it at almost any time. FLY IN and take a look.
