1957 Studebaker Transtar pickup Resto-mod with less than 1000 miles on the build. Truck is on a 2000 Silverado 4wd chassis with a 5.3l fuel injected LS V-8 engine and a 4L60e automatic transmission. The engine and transmission are new and the engine has a lumpy cam for the hot rod idle, a fabricated intake and ceramic coated headers. The interior is fully custom with bucket seats, a custom made center console and all matching material. The center console not only provides storage but the also houses the touch screen stereo and two of the four Rockford Fosgate speakers in this amazing sound system. Along with the custom steering wheel on the tilt steering column is integrated cruise control. A Vintage Air custom air conditioning system keeps the cabin cool for summer cruises or a date night. . Under the hood is just awesome and the polished diamond plate aluminum dash cover is stunning. Looking in the bed of the truck and seeing the gorgeous oak bed always gets the "oohs" and the hidden gas fill in the jerry can is a talking point.
