This 1965 Factory Five Cobra Mk4 replica is a freshly completed build, finalized in March 2024 with an impressive combination of performance and modern custom touches. Crafted around the iconic silhouette of the original Shelby Cobra, this Mk4 stays true to its roots while delivering a thoroughly updated driving experience. The body is finished in a rich charcoal gray that pairs perfectly with its aggressive satin black accents, including a wrapped windshield frame and 15-inch Halibrand-style wheels. Every chrome component has been powder-coated black for a menacing, monochromatic look that sets it apart from more traditional Cobra tributes.
Under the hood, power comes from a 351 Windsor-based V8 that's been bored and stroked to a stout 408 cubic inches. Topped with a Jim Inglese Weber eight-stack carburetor system, the engine delivers razor-sharp throttle response and an unmistakable visual presence. Mated to a T5 manual transmission and a three-link rear end, this Cobra puts down an estimated 400 horsepower to the rear wheels, offering explosive acceleration and a visceral driving experience.
