Vehicle Description

Vehicle Original VIN : LRE22641Perhaps no other car defined hand built luxury more than Rolls Royce. Their style, luxury and confidence has defined Rolls Royce motor cars since 1906. This tradition transcended all models as they evolved with the times and continued to set the premium luxury standard year after year. The Silver Shadow was Rolls Royce's most innovative model to date. It featured independent rear suspension, automatic level control and disc brakes all around. The new unibody construction resulted in more room for passengers, easier access for storing luggage and a drastically reduced height and weight. The 8 cylinder 90 degree V-configuration of the power plant features aluminum heads fed by twin SU carburetors, this is hooked to a three speed automatic transmission and rear wheel drive. Just out of a private collection, the lovely 1976 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow offered here is finished in its attractive Caribbean Blue / Dark Blue classic two tone exterior metallic paint over Dark Blue leather interior. The car features just 44,307 miles since new and still stands tall in all areas. The original dark blue leather interior remains very nice, showing normal patina for the age and brand of car. The wood remains in a very quality condition and the carpet is excellent with the optional plush floor mats still intact. Due to the long wheel base platform the rear seat area gives you plenty of area to spread out and the foot rests remain with the car. The exterior paint and body remain very nice, again showing some patina and the vinyl top is excellent. Mechanically, this Rolls Royce remains very fit with all things appearing to be in working order. The 6.75 liter V8 powers this 5331 pound hulk and the hydraulic self leveling rear suspension give an exceptional ride quality. The car remains in a stock setup as close as we can tell and being a Left Hand Drive car setup increases its value here in the States. Jack, owners manuals, bulb box and some other random parts accompany the vehicle with a clean Michigan title and keys.
