Elite Laser Porsche 917 Kit Car 914This is an Elite Enterprise Laser 917, number 549 of approximately 650. This is from an estate, so I will tell you what I know. This is a project car, designed to be placed on a VW beetle, although this rare car has been placed on a tube chassis, with a mid engine, not the VW. It has a Buick 231, that has not been started in approximately 6 -8 years. Cylinders have been treated and engine is not locked up. Holley intake and carb. It has the Porsche 914 5 speed side shift, along with the 914 front and rear suspension. Disc brakes around, but lines and calipers will have to be replaced. Only roller wheels on it, of which 2 won’t keep air. Pans are shot but just flat stock. Original gel coat, starting to fade and minor cracks, pictured. Windshield lower half inch has the pvb. Build manuals and books, parts pictured. No title has ever been issued. Local pick up.
