Not much else can be said about this excellent example of an iconic mid-80s kit car. Based on a VW IRS chassis, and currently powered by a 325+ hp Subaru 2.57ej STI motor, a remote lift top and White Tiger stripes... Removable Faux Fuel Injection stack cluster for that race look at the local car show!!! What else do you need?!?!? This vehicle has been COMPLETELY reconditioned. No nut or bolt left untouched. The body was initially removed in the build process in order to facilitate proper renovations. From the chassis, the brakes, brake lines, electrical, cooling system, NEW long block engine from Suabaru, Fiat aluminum race radiator from Midwest Bayless, Dual Spal cooling fans, New Garrett gt28rs (disco potato) dual ball bearing turbo, Kennedy Engineering Stage 2 pressure plate with a Black Diamond "ferramic/kevlar" clutch disc, Porsche 930 c/v's... Fresh Type 1 transaxle from Benco out in California, all new interior with Porsche 914 seats, body seals, all new lighting, new tires, reconditioned wheels, all new adjustable shocks, new wiper motor, custom fuel tank, 2.50" stainless exhaust system, new Tial wastegate and BOV, AN fuel system and a whole lot more. Nothing on this car has been left untouched. Engine is tight, NO LEAKS, NO OVERHEATING. Quite a few hours went into bringing this gem back to life, and it shows. Tuning is done utilizing a Link G+ ECU via USB and a laptop. ECU is unlocked and the Software is available for free to download. Tune is complete but could probably use some dyno time to dial it in.
