Vehicle Description

Up for your consideration is a pristine example of an American Red Racer pedal car. I purchased this new in the box over 12 years ago, right before my twin grandsons were born. It has NEVER been on concrete. It has only been rolled on carpet. Look at the close ups of all four tires, and you can see that it still has the molding mark on it. It was only used inside the house for photo ops. My youngest grandchild is now five, and I have already captured precious moments with her and my other grandchildren in the car, so I just don’t need it. I would like to sell locally, as I did not save the box, and crating it up to ship would be a real pain.It is meant to mimic an early Ferrari Roadster. As you can see, it comes with two Scuderia Ferrari sport team stick on emblems. I don’t remember if those came with the car, but most of the ones you see today have them installed just above the mock exhaust manifolds on each side of the car. However, I never installed them. They are as new. Also included is all of the original paperwork. Two sets of assembly instructions and an exploded view of the car. Also included are the following items that did NOT come with the car, that I paid extra for:Two #5 Harris decals. These are high end decals used on race cars back in the day. I never put them on. They are still in the original protective sleeves with the squeegee and the instructions.A real Ferrari chrome prancing horse with two mounting posts on back. This is NOT repop. It is a genuine Ferrari emblem. Unless you cut the posts (for two sided tape) this would require drilling holes to mount. Up to the new owner. As stated, those items did not come with the car.If the ad is up, it is still for sale. These have been selling for crazy money lately. Check out Bring a Trailer. One recently brought $8250 (NOT including the buyer’s premium) and another for $7500. NEITHER of them had original paperwork, and obviously did not come with the extras that I have. The one that brought $7500 had a hideous scratch (poorly repaired) on the front and was missing the “spinners” on the wheels. This one does not have a dent or a significant scratch anywhere. I can take as many pictures from whatever angle you want. I can almost guarantee that the first person to come and look at it will buy it. It is that nice. Frankly, it is so shiny, it is hard to get good pics if you are not a professional photographer (and I am NOT).This is for sale locally in Guthrie, OK,, just North of OKC. It is listed on OKC CL for sale. I am sure you can find it. I reserve the right to end the listing if sold locally and I am contacted directly.
