This car is a street legal race car. it is a 4 door 1983 Renault Lecar R5. It had the folding European sunroof. It has expensive track modifications including expensive 2-piece wide wheels, original Renault racing wood steering wheel, roll bar, race through exhaust with dual tips, harnesses, short shifter, extra gauges (RPM, oil, temp), upgraded stereo and many more.It has enhanced suspension and brakes that are in good shape.Please look at the pictures for more info.
The engine is the larger 1.4L engine. Previous owner indicated that the engine is enlarged and improved and has upgraded cams. The engine was rebuilt 5,000 miles ago. The folding soft top is in great shape, opens and closes well and does not leak. Tires have at least 80% left (one is almost new). Upgraded air intake, enhanced ignition system, upgraded rev control. Super coil distributor. New water pump, new thermostat and hoses, new brake master cylinder, rebuilt rear brake drums. All fluids (including engine transmission) are up to date.

The car is covered in plastidip matte black. Original color is gold. All fluids up to date. The engine runs good. Transmission shifts well. Interior is in nice shape. Front seats are bit dirty but not damaged. The rear seats were removed. Battery moved to back and it has a battery tender.
Floors are sold (but front floors were patched).
The 2-piece race wheels are in nice shape. Major electrical parts and gauges work. Clean NJ title. You can register it and drive on the street
