We purchased this vehicle from an older guy in Mendocino County. He owned it for over 20+ YEARS. It has been in CA its entire life! Originally it was purchased locally at WESTER VW/Porsche located in Monterey, CA. We have the original books, some records, and the original window sticker! The car is very original inside and out. Not a whole lot was over done to it. It’s finished in its original brown exterior with a tan interior. The paint and interior are original! No previous accidents, no real rust anywhere. They are only original once! The exterior has a patina to it that I think most would like to keep. And the interior has held up surprisingly very well. Watch the video to see the full cosmetic condition. Mechanically it’s powered by its original 2.7L engine. Regular maintenance was always done, but I’m not sure of any Rebuilts. Most recent services include a brake job; caliper, hoses, pads. They also change the thermostat. That was all done this year and they spent less of $4000. Mechanically it runs and drives well. The motor sounds great and has plenty of power. And transmission shifts smoothly through all gears. The brake clutch both feel good. It’s a Porsche, they all have some kind of leaks.
